Upload Pdfs To Client Galleries

Hi Tim,
Is there a way to upload PDFs to client galleries and passcode protect them the same way you passcode protect JPGs?
I need to add small PDFs to my galleries and assign the same passcodes that I used for the JPGs in that client gallery.
This is so each individual client can see their school photos and also a personal PDF intended only for them, which they can immediately download.
If it is not currrntly a possibility, can the file upload be changed to allow the uploading of PDF files to client galleries? I know currently it allows for JPG and PNG.

It is not possible to upload PDF files to a gallery. It can't be changed to allow for PDF uploads and even if it could, they would not display.
