Unsubscribe Link

Hello Tim,

Is it possible to have this fonction on all defaults mails ?

[UNSUBSCRIBE_LINK] = The start link to unsubscribe
[/UNSUBSCRIBE_LINK] = The end link to unsubscribe

The unsubscribe link is automatically added to all emails sent from the automated emails ... like gallery expiring emails sent with the automated email option. There is no option to add them into the default emails.

When we go to a page, (pre-registered) peoples tab, send emails, is there an unsubscribe link too ?
(My CRON task sends emails every 10 minutes)
Is it the same think that automated emails ?

Yes, if you have Automated Emails enabled in Settings -> Automated Emails, when you send the emails to the pre-registered people from the People tab the unsubscribe link is automatically added at the bottom of the email.

Ok, but can I do the job with people tab in a page ?
If I want to Automated Emails to say to pre-registered peoples that a gallery is available, how can I do with Automated Emails function ?

When you send people an email from the People tab in a gallery, it uses the automated email function if it is enabled to send out the emails so they are not sent all at once. AND it adds the Unsubscribe link to those emails when they are sent.

I use this.
For this field, "Enter email addresses to send to separated by a comma (,)" in People tab, I haven't the Unsubscribe link

I've taken another look and I now see the unsubscribe links are being added to the gallery invite emails from the People tab. I thought I had it adding when they cron job sent the email but that's not the case. I will have to add it for the next update.

Follow up to this topic:

I did exactly this - invited a client using the "People" tab, and put their email in the 'additional emails' line.

Here's the issue - this client has no account yet, but he clicked the "unsubscribe" link. He then emailed us asking if we can undo that choice and put him back on the mailing list.

I don't even know what to do with this. Would he ever get emails if he has no account? He doesn't show up on the list of users on the gallery, as far as I can see. Can an admin see or adjust the 'unsubscribe' choices anywhere; if he registers will he start getting the emails or is his email on a hidden data list somewhere that will prevent it?

Go to People -> Opt-Out Emails. You can remove him from the opt-out list there.
