Paid Order Stuck In Shopping Cart

Twice this summer I've had orders hangup in the shopping cart after a paypal payment is made. This results in me not knowing an appointment has been made. ??

Maybe they paid with an echeck? If you look at the PayPal transaction it will show if it is an eCheck. If so, it won't create the order until it clears. Otherwise it would be caused by some sort of network issue between PayPal and your server/hosting.
