Import Offline To Online System

OK I am not sure if this is even possible but we have an offline system of Sytist (local host) that we are using for on-site events. We just had our first 3-day event using the new system and it worked FLAWLESSLY. Our participants were impressed and excited about the new system. (We had been using 5-Minute Photo for the past 8 years).

Now that the event is over we need to upload the entire show onto our online site for those who were unable to purchase at the show, or who pre-paid to view and purchase online. We don't have a need to upload the full-resolution files since there are 10,000 images and it would take way too long to upload and take too much disk space.

Is there any way to accomplish this by importing from our offline system or another way?

There is not a way to import for your offline system and import it to the online one. The main reason is everything has a unique / incremental database ID (each photo, order, page, account) and you would have duplicate IDs.

Good to know it worked well for you offline system.

Thanks for your reply Tim. I looked in my local Sytist files and pretty much realize the same thing. No big issue.

By any chance can you give me pointers on how to set up my local host to send email inside? For instance when someone create an account online through our local system and Then they forget their password they check forgot password but never get an email. We didn’t realize that was happening until after the show when we noticed duplicate accounts.
