Thanks for your quick response. IT looks like this number includes all amounts that could have been taxed? Even though most were out of state where I don't charge tax? I had 51.95 in sales that qualified for being taxed and my tax rate is 9.25.
I am curios what this number actually is accounting wise or how it's used? To report my taxes I need the amount of sales that the number was calculated on. So basically 51.95. I also need all sales before shipping, tax or credit, OR all sales that were not taxable. Can I find either of those somewhere? I am currently calculating by exporting the sales to a spreadsheet and adding formulas, but it seems like I'm always in a rush when calculating sales tax.
Thanks so much for all your help. ~Melissa

I figured out what it is. It is showing the total taxable amounts of the orders even if the order didn't charge tax. So if you had a $50 order that was taxable, but the person was out of state and didn't actually pay tax, it is still calculating it into the total taxable amount on the reports. I will have to do some looking into it.

Hi Tim,. Yes,. That's what I discovered toi when I pulled a spreadsheet and did the math. It seems to elimialnating non-taxable products, but not non-taxable people. It's an interesting number because for me it represents how much I sold in physical product..... But it may not be the number that belongs there.
Thanks for your help. This isn't urgent because I can pull a spreadsheet and get the number, but it would be great to skip that step.
