Requiring Viewers To Register

Originally I didnt think I wanted to require viewers to have to register to access the site but after using about a year now, I really think I want to require them to create an account. Im sure there is a simple way to do this for those viewing the site going forward but I cant figure it out anywhere. Any help is appreciated!

Would also love the creation of a FB group for software users so we can share ideas about the software and selling photos using the site etc.

Edit the section your galleries are in (edit under the section name in the left menu of the Site Content section) and select the Require To View option.

Excellent! Found it. Now Im wondering if I should just ask for an email address or a log in. I think the log in might be less of a pain for customers regularly visiting my site vs having to enter an email addy each time they visit, Does anyone have any thoughts? Id like to better track who is visiting the site without making it difficult for them to view their proofs. In my busiest month last year I had 3500 visitors / 25k page views.
