I watched the video on the new page template and tried to find anything that discussed its features. I love the new design but when building my session page I cannot find a way to add the "book now" button that will take them to the calendar to pay and schedule their session. Am I missing something?

You create services in your booking calendar section, then make a link to that section in your menu or on a page if you want.
When you have services in the booking calendar section, it will look like this with book now buttons already:
