I had CDN basic on 1and1 server that caused a white screen when uploading images. 1and1 advised I'd need the paid version for it work properly. I had it turned off. I only desire web site traffic in the USA. So my understanding is the CDN helped more on the world wide traffic.

If your having page latencies and upload slow downs within your admin give this post a read.

If you are having page speed issues, test your site to see where to slow does are in which css, java file or Images etc...

Yo can accomplish this be googling website speed test.

Arron, Thanks for your tips. Site is running better today. It was mostly my admin that was bogging down. I deleted about 200,000 images/files from my site to try to help but it was still not going too fast. but i implemented your list from the other post and seems to have helped

I have completed the Google page speed tests to see where my site slows down with the css, java files or Images etc...

I have minified the css and java where possible, however many of those files appear to be cread with an individual file created at time of each visit. Thus, minifiing those files doesn't always work correctly. Is there a way to work around this to help speed the page loading.

@ M Davis are you referring to the front end page loads or the back admin page loads?

Front end page loads.

For Example, Page Speed Insights will show that compacting JavaScript code ( as well as other code) can save many bytes of data and speed up downloading, parsing, and execution time.

The files Google references to compact shows as follows

sy-inc/js/sytist.js?0d6d4ea27ce38df173b212905adda522d

But... the actual file in Sytist is 'sytist.js' without the trailing code numbers and letters.

I have attemped to compact the sytust.js file. However, the site slows down and/or provides errors.
