Download Credits - Testing Or Demo?

I'm interested in using the Download Credits option on my site, but I'd like to see how it works especially as a client. It would also be nice if I could set it up and test it before going "live". Is there a demo anywhere?

My questions are mostly:
- how does a client 'use' a credit once purchased
- Can I have some galleries / price lists that allow credits and some galleries that don't (but still sell downloads)?
- does the download approval still work (like holding it until we upload the retouched version) or do they get the file instantly?
- what happens if I put a credit price on a 'free download' product? (which is allowed by Sytist, so I want to know how that works)

Stuff like that; I read your page at ( https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/photo-products/download-credits/ ) but these questions aren't really answered there.

As it shows on this page, there will be a link to download with credits. Example in the demo. That is from a stock section but the same thing.

You can create products that include credits and products that don't, and assign those products to the price lists accordingly.

They are instant downloads.

Adding a credit value to a free download won't do anything. It's still a free download. Download credits are used to download by credit value.
