I've asked for the make of the device. I will post when I know. Are there any known issues that could cause this? She has tried "download all photos" and then tried just one image. I successfully downloaded one to my iphone.

My thought would be the device may not have enough hard drive space to accept the downloads thus preventing the same.

Another possibility would be her connection. example, i set my phone to not use cellular data for large downloads.
