Adding People To Categories That Have Galleries In It

I have a Client that is a team. I created a category that has a password, then a category in the first one for the year, then there are galleries in the year category so it looks like this

Team (Category, password protect entire category)
-Year (Category)
-game 1 (Gallery)
-game 2 (Gallery)
-etc (Gallery)

I have parents wanting to add the category to their galleries but I do not see a way for them to do this. I also do not see a way I can add them to the category on the admin side. Is this possible? Or am I doing something wrong?

Also when they click on Access Private Photos and enter the password for the category it tells them there are no galleries. Is there a way to fix that? Or does this go back to I am doing something wrong?

Thanks for the great product and customer service!

The passwords for categories don't work like the passwords for galleries. It is a general password and won't be found in the find my photos, and can't assign to accounts. The visitors would have to view the category and then enter in the password for it.

You could though possibly do it as a gallery instead, then create sub-galleries within it for each game.

I already have a months worth of games online, it might not be time effective to move everything around since the season is over in a week or two. Could I just make everything in the category have the same password?

I will have to think about switching the way I have it setup though, I am not sure how many subcategories I want to do within a gallery because each game (gallery) is already set with a subcategory of varsity & jv.

Having all the galleries with the same password won't work. They would enter in the password and get a random gallery with that password and not see all of them. The way you have it now, be best to direct them to the category link and enter in the password there.
