Sales Tax On Shipping

If I set the option in settings " Include shipping charges in tax calculation.", does it use the system tax rate for the state I am shipping to, or does it use the sales tax rate that is on the shipping page? If it's using the sales tax rate on the shipping page the tax amount field needs to be expanded to 3 decimal places. NJ is 6.875 and its rounding it to 6.88. I know the difference is minimal, but I'm sure someone will notice it on an invoice if it's listed.

Did a sample transaction, using the include shipping charges in tax calculation setting, and it appears to use the state tax rate which is four decimal places.

The tax spots should be 4 decimals. If not, screen shot what you are seeing.

The tax spots on the shipping screen are not and round it off. Only the main setup page has 4 decimal places.

It looks like I don't need the tax amounts on the shipping page if I have the main setup set to add tax to shipping as Thomas mentioned and I had just tested.
