Account Before Shopping Cart

What are my options for forcing someone to create an account before they add something to their shopping cart? I ask as I would like to be able to contact people who leave something in their shopping cart and leave the site.

Edit the settings of your price list and select an option under "Require customer to be log into their account to add to cart?".
Or edit the section your galleries are in (by clicking edit under the section name in the left menu of the site content area), click the Require to view option and select one of those.
