How To Increase Your Page Speed Load Time

Using Google PageSpeed Insights (Link below) my website ranked for page speed load time 4 out of 100. I have eight (8) 1920 px x 300 px billboard photographs + three(3) 600x300 px images on the home page. Being a Google adwords advertiser, Google sent an email they would help optimize the website free, a $350 value. Today, I spent over an hour on the telephone with Google. Now the home page ranks 72 of 100. (Said, not to expect 100/100 as that's only possible with a blank white screen). First, they had me optimize the images using Optimizilla (link below). Then, to 'Leverage browser caching', 'Minify HTML' and to 'Prioritize visible content above the fold', by adding langauge to the htacess file, which Google provided via an email. My host -1and1- uses Apache servers. I am on a shared server. I specifically asked Google, if I am running Sytist on a different URL can I load the same language and will it work on a different website. They said yes provided Apache server. While I have more work to complete optimizing photographs... for every one-second decrease in load time, businesses experience a 3.5% increase in conversion rates, I thought I'd share this information with you. Well I loaded the language for the htacess file but it's not showing up. I assume Tim has the page set not to show coding in the comments section. I didn't think about that. If you want the information, send an email from my website. I will forward it.
