I/o Erro Uploading Images When Site Is Https://

Hi gang,

I've just purchased Sytist and am in the process of setting it up - and I've hit a snag with uploading images to client galleries.

If I'm logged in to the Admin area via an https:// URL (i.e. https://www.cjmann.com/clients...) then I get an I/O error if I try and upload images to galleries.

If however I log in to the Admin area via a non-secure URL (http://www.cjmann.com/clients...) then I can upload images with no problem.

I have tried forcing Sytist to use SSL by making the changes to the .htaccess and sy-config.php files mentioned in this article:

...but that doesn't help - I still can't upload any images, and of course then the non-https admin URL stops working.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? I can use the workaround of logging in to an insecure URL but obviously I would rather have everything running under SSL if possible.

the SSL certificate is from Let's Encrypt

Strange it would do that when over httpS ... I haven't seen that before.

If you want, you can email me the link to your Sytist admin with the username and password and also your FTP username and password and I can do some testing.

For the benefit of anyone else that may be experiencing this issue - with Tim's help we narrowed it down to my Firefox browser on Mac OS X.

Tim was able to upload using Firefox from his computer, but I still can't - even after removing all extensions, performing a "refresh" of Firefox, and even removing it and reinstalling.

I can however upload in https:// mode using Chrome or Safari.

So some cookie or preference setting must be screwing things up with my particular instance of Firefox. I don't have the time or energy to track this down any further in the middle of wedding season - I will just use Chrome when I need to upload images to galleries.
