For some reason, when I do a test email, it comes through fine, but I'm not receiving the inquiries. They're showing up in my email log, but not my inbox.

Tim, you said "With the default settings, test the settings with the test email option sending an email to yourself. If you receive the email you are good to go, don't change anything."
This isn't true, in my case. I'm using gmail.

So you are saying you receive the test email send from Sytist, but no other emails?
Have you checked your spam folder?
This is all the troubleshooting:

Yes, test is fine. Orders come through fine.
Issue is with inquiries through contact form. I've checked the form email settings, and it's set to the same as the main sytist page.

Look in Stats -> Email Logs and look for the ones from the contact forms. Make sure it is being sent to the correct email address.
Also edit the form in the Forms section and check for any spaces before or after the email address.
If it looks correct in the email logs, then maybe you can have your host trace the emails and see if they are being blocked by the server.

Would my host be blocking it, if I'm using a gmail account?

It is possible you host is blocking it.
The email sent when someone fills out the contact form is sent the same way as all other emails with the exception that the “from” email is from your email address (like the other emails), but the reply-to is the email address of the person filling out the form. So if you are not receiving these emails, you will need to contact your hosting company and see if they can trace those emails and find out why they are not being delivered.

OK, I've changed my settings per bluehost's recs (they're my hosting company) and the test email comes through fine, but the contact form is still not not coming through?

my domain is christinamaria.photo
Is it something in the sytist settings that doesn't allow it to recognize that domain?

I only receive the inquiries/emails when I've also included a gmail address with my main address.
This seems to be a Sytist issue; not a hosting issue?

What exactly do you mean by this? You use an gmail address in the "Email results to" in the form settings (see attached)
Or when you fill out the form on the website, you use a gmail address?

If I include a 2nd address on the form (hello@christinamaria.photo, christinamariapd@gmail.com) for the contact form to go to , then I receive the message.
If I take off the gmail account, I am NOT receiving the messages.

Is this, hello@christinamaria.photo, actually an email address you can receive email to?
Email me the link to your Sytist admin with the username and password so I can test.

Same thing is happening to me as well. I use bluehost/hostmonster, and I have gmail. I get some emails that come through, but any from a contact form do not. They do show up in my email logs that is how I know they are there.
Were you able to figure out the issue?

As far as I know, no one has had the host trace those emails. If it shows in the email logs, Sytist is sending the email. Something on the server is blocking it.

My host checked them and did not explain why I was not receiving them.
I'm continuing to check my daily log to make sure I don't miss any inquiries.
