I am looking at hosting all my images on my amazon s3 account as I can then offer file downloads along with using it as an additional back up of my hi res files.
I know that I need to upload to stylist for processing then move the files to Amazon. My question is will that mean that all thats hosted on my server is the stylist database or is there images thumbnails etc hosted. I am trying to get the size of my client area on my server down as small as I can get it.
Many thanks
Suzanne

Does the moving of images to Amazon S3 have any effect on images that are currently 'favourited' by clients in their accounts?
Would they still appear as normal?
Also, my host does not allow image storage over 2mb in size, so full res download purchases are being fulfilled by links to my google drive currently rather than the standard sytist method. I assume that using S3 would solve this problem?

Moving the photos to Amazon doesn't effect the favorites and such, it just moves the photo files.
More than likely your host won't let you upload a file larger than 2MB. And if that is the case, it won't solve that problem because you still won't be able to upload a photo larger than 2MB
