Shipping Sql Error

Hi. I have noticed that the only countries I have available are the USA and Canada.

If I go to settings and shipping I get the following error;


MENU
MYSQL ERROR: Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_unicode_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '='

Query: SELECT * FROM ms_states WHERE state_name=' Esp?rito Santo' AND state_country='Brazil'

Can someone help please

Try this.

Click on Settings in the main menu.

Then click MySQL query under the left menu.

In the query box, copy and paste this in there and click run:

ALTER TABLE ms_states CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;

Then return to Settings -> Shipping and see if the error goes away.

Just had a similar error:

Query: SELECT * FROM ms_sub_galleries WHERE sub_date_id='1452' AND sub_under='' AND sub_name='03 Gruppenfotos Apéro'

03 Gruppenfotos Apéro = there should be a & between. did you change some setups after last update? before it wasn't any problem. ;).

It's because of the é in the gallery name.

Click on Settings in the main menu.

Then click MySQL query under the left menu.

In the query box, copy and paste this in there and click run and see if this makes a difference.

ALTER TABLE ms_sub_galleries CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;
