View detailed information about this update in the changelog here.

If the update hangs on unzipping (Step 2), see the bottom of this message.

Some of the things included in this update:

Added "Labels" for accounts which is basically a way to categories your customer accounts. More Information

Added the ability to work with the Entagged barcode system. More Information

Added the option to automatically archive orders that are only download photos AND a) have no options selected and b) are not marked as do not allow download until I manually approve it. This option can be enabled in Settings -> Checkout & Payment.

Added the ability to create an order from an existing customer shopping cart when viewing that cart in the admin.

Added a jump to page dropdown above the thumbnails of a gallery to navigate to different thumbnail pages on the front end.

And more.

View the change log here.

How to update:
The first time each day you log into the admin it will check for the update. If you have already logged into your admin today, then you won't get the notice until tomorrow.

If you are currently using Sytist version 1.0.0 or higher, you can have it check for the update again by clicking on Settings in the main menu. Then scroll down and below the left menu, click MySQL query. Copy the following line of code, paste it in the query box and click run.

UPDATE ms_history SET upgrade_check='';

Then return to your admin home page.

If the auto update feature won't work for you for some reason, you will have to manually update.

When using the auto-update from the admin and it seems to hang when trying to unzip, then the ZIP functions are probably not enabled in the PHP on your hosting. If it used to work then your host probably changed something to cause the ZIP functions in PHP to go away. You can contact your hosting company and ask them to enable the ZIP functions in PHP.

When someone has a paid access in their shopping basket the shopping cart has a value of £0.00 whereas it used to have the value

Does it have anything to do with the fact I charge £5 and give £5 credit?

Just had a couple of orders with the auto archive enabled and it archived a print order, not what I was expecting

Already have a fix for that coming out this week.

Just had a couple of orders with the auto archive enabled and it archived a print order, not what I was expecting

Are you positive about that? Can you email me admin access and those order numbers?

I also had the same issue with the auto archive, the product is a 12x8 print and includes a small download, went straight to archive.

When an order is created from a Shopping Cart and an Early Bird Discount is applied the total does not subtract the discount.

Paul, I assume you added the early bird special after you created the order (since there is no early bird special option when creating an order from cart ... it would need to be added to the discount field) and when editing order details you would have to recalculate the totals.

I clicked on "Early Bird Discount" in the drop-down and then entered the amount of the discount and shipping. Sytist automatically added the text "Early Bird Discount" to the summary and correctly showed the amount of the discount and shipping. Since it itemizes everything it should also do the math and reflect everything in the itemization in the Grand Total. As it is, it would very easy for the client to just pay what is shown as the Grand Total which would be incorrect.

Auto Archive is working fine now on individual downloads, but not on collections of downloads, i.e. i have a collection of three small downloads, this does not get auto archived.
Let me know if your need some login details.

Thanks

I understand why it is happening and have made a note to work on it.

I would like to see some progress towards the adoption of webp. There seem to be some benefits in file size that may make page loading times quicker. This format is slowly making its way into mainstream applications such as photoshop

I thought I finally got the new update all set. My issue now is that page designer is just not cooperating! Every time I click it, the page goes entirely blank. On Chrome I get this error:

This page isn’t workingjamielucas.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
