Subgallery Issue

I'm trying to set up a gallery with two sub galleries (500 images each). I want the clients to log into the page and choose to view either of the sub galleries. It currently shows the two sub galleries, but it also is showing ALL the images below the galleries. I don't want them to show up on the page like that. I've done other galleries like this in the past and I can't figure out why I can't do it again. lol
Also - When I upload to one sub gallery, the photos are showing into both sub galleries! I'm sure it's something super easy to fix, but it is driving me crazy!

It sounds like you are just uploading the photos into the main gallery instead of the sub galleries. Pretty sure it's nothing in the software doing it. Double check what you are uploading into .

That's what I thought at first, but even when you look at the gallery, it shows two galleries and says (as of now), there are 12 in the 'Late Show' and and 1 in the 'Early Show' . . . but when you click on either sub gallery, it lists WAY more than that.

And there is no way to bulk delete all the other images -- so I've been clicking one-by-one to delete the 1000 images I uploaded.

I've also tried uploading two different ways
1.) Clicking the upload icon right under the sub gallery
2.) Opening the sub gallery and the clicking on the 'upload photo' in the list of 'edit - delete - upload photos - add sub galleries - upload preview photo'
Both times when they are uploaded, the upload window shows "upload photos to Dancing lights Recital 2021 > Early Show" (or Late Show, depending on which gallery I'm using)
I just deleted all the images that were in the gallery and tried yet again. The admin panel says there are 10 in the "Early Show" and 9 in the "Late Show", but you'll see that there are 19 in each gallery when you open them

Oh my gosh -- I just figured it out!
I had selected tagged photos to show up in the gallery!
I think I've got it all fixed now
