Photos Out Of Order

My photos are showing up out of order. This is using the trial on Sytist's own server, uploading via the web (Firefox). I think this may only be happening if I do an upload with subfolders. I've tried a couple of times on single folders, and it worked fine, but every time I've tried with subfolders, the photos in each folder are out of order.

I can go into each folder and click "Rearrange Folders," but this isn't practical as an event shooter.

Might uploading via FTP solve this problem, or is there something else going on? The photos are in order when I select them, but then they end up jumbled. I notice they have ID's, and they get sorted by that instead of the filename...

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger and buy Sytist, but this sort order has to work!

Thanks to anyone who can help!

I just did another test, uploading from a single folder. They were out of order - this time I watched as they uploaded, and they uploaded out of order. Hmm... they're in order in the Mac's finder...

And one more test, same as above, but this time I unchecked "Upload folders to create sub galleries" and selected the photos instead of the folder, and they uploaded in order. But with "upload folders" checked, they upload out of order. Is there a solution for this?

Like I wrote to you before, I am unable to duplicate it. I named a bunch of photos with the same naming format as you, created folders for them and uploaded the same way you have and they upload in order.

Perhaps try another browser like Chrome and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks again Tim, I figured I'd ask here too in case any users had the issue and solved it for themselves.
I tried Chrome just now, and experienced the same problem. Would it be possible for me to try the FTP method with my trial account?

Also pleased with the Watch folder, I wasn't sure if it would automatically continually publish. That will be great for events, if I can just find an ftp to watch a folder... or maybe ftp right from LR...
