I've decided to change from using a company name to using my personal name. This will be reflected in a change to my domain name.

Once I have moved everything from the current domain to the new domain, do I need to manually do anything with regard to the license, or will the installation see the new domain and update (assuming anything needs updating) automatically?

I plan on moving and not reinstalling from scratch, and the move is on the same server, just a different domain.

You won't need to do anything else.

And if both domain folders are on the same hosting account you can easily move it by using your FTP program and just drag the contents of domain A into the folder for domain B. No other changes will need to be made.

We have just the same requirement now and nice to read, we don't have to worry about loosing the License upon domain-name Change! We have multiple Domain names mapped all together to the same HTML-Folder. Is there a way to create Landing pages? E. g. for old Domain-Name "We have a new Name" and for Wedding-Photography Domain Name a individual home page / Intro Page?

I don't think I understand your question. You have multiple domains point to the same site and want a different message based on the domain they are on? If so, no. You could try to do some custom stuff for that, but I don't know off the top of my head.
