Hi Tim,

I have been trying really hard the past 2 days to get a proofing project for a client to work. I just want to send them the link and they use the passcode form the photos to select their images.

It is driving me absolute nuts because I already have a gallery online where I did this, but even if i copy all the exact settings, it is not allowing me to do this. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks,
Barry

P.S. I really need to have a payment gateway integrated this summer! I will be doing more schools after the summer and I really, really need them to be able to pay online.

Maybe you didn't create the project in your section for project proofing. Maybe you added it to a client gallery section?

I really don't get it. I have the same problem every time I create a proofing gallery.

I have a section " Client Proofing". When I create a proofing project directly under this section, nothing appears on the website. If I create a category under the section and then a proofing project, it doesn't show the password option or anything for that matter on the website. I have 2 online where it worked (section-category-project) but I can't remember how because I always have to try different solutions and then perhaps one will work. I just want to create a link where the client has to enter a password and can then select/reject photos.

By default in a project proofing section, the projects are created as password protected and do not list on website. This is in the password option when editing the gallery. So they won't be listed on the website like a list of galleries.

You will assign a customer to the project and all they have to do is log into their account, go to My Account and they will see the project listed there.

Or you can give them the password and they can enter that in the find my photos form, or change the password option so they are listed in that section on the website.
