Help please. I've checked the max settings and all above suggested values. When I hit the upload button, nothing happens. I did recently do an upgrade to macOS High Sierra. Does this have something to do with it?

If you look at some threads in this forum, you'll find that it is already been discussed.
It is a Safari problem, not Sierra,download another browser and you'll see that it will work smoothly.
It has nothing to do with Sytist

You can try to use Chrome or Firefox.
In the 2.6 Sytist update a new photo uploader was developed and that does not require the use of Adobe Flash which will work with Safari.
