Paid for install and having issue with cron jobs
Created cron job on my cpanel and both enable and test mode checked, however not receiving a test email. Please advise when you get a moment.

Who is the hosting company you use? You are using cPanel hosting and the default code in Settings -> Automated Emails should work.

Looking at an article about cron jobs with Hosting Matters, it looks like you should use this as the command line in the cron job settings.
php -q /home/djo/public_html/clients/sy-admin/sy-cron.php
php -q /home/djo/public_html/clients/sy-admin/sy-cron.php
