Is it possible to have an event like a "once per day event" that does require the user to book a time slot? I will be providing a corporate session that I just want people to book their place for on the day, it is not necessary to a lot a time for each person.

When editing the booking service, select the "All Day Event" option. Then for "Appointments per time", enter how many you want to be able to book for the day.
They will select the date without selecting a time and will accept however many appointments you have set for "Appointments per time".

Thank you,
I am only running two events on the 2 & 3rd November. They appear to have the option to pick any day from this solution? I am hoping to only offer the chance to book either on the 2nd of November or the 3rd of November for this specific event?
Is that possible? Appreciate your help in this matter

Then the only way to do it is to create a booking service for each day as for a "Special 1 Day Event".
Set the length to 12 hours and enter in how many booking to accept in the "Appointments per time".
Set the start time to when the event might start, and the end time sometime later, does really matter.
But they will still have to select the one time option that will be available. So if the start time is set to 12 PM, they still have to click 12 PM. But you can just add something to the service description about them selecting that time.
