Discount/account Credit Issue

Customer is being "charged" full amount of order with account credit. But there is a discount on the order and it is not taking that into consideration. Discount shows up on order information but when I click on edit order it doesn't show up there.

What kind of discount? A coupon or early bird special? And the discount shows on the order and sub totals, but not being deducted from the grand total?
