Paypal Error: We're Sorry, Things Don't Appear To Be Working At The Moment....

Hi,

I'm based in Australia and have a business PayPal account and when checking out through Sytist the following Paypal error is being generated:

PayPal
We're sorry, things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.

We have two installations configured the same and both aren't working. The PayPal account is integrated with our CRM software (LightBlue) and is working from that end. Any ideas?

Go to Settings -> Checkout & Payment. Check the Currency code. It should be AUD for Australia. You might have something different in there.

Hi Tim,

That was the first thing I checked to be honest. But I had AUD in there, I removed my PayPal ID and added it again to ensure there were no special characters, but sadly it still isn't working :(

Double check for a space before or after the email address you put in the PayPal settings.

Also, has this worked before? Or is this the first time using PayPal?

You might need to email me the link to your Sytist admin with the username and password so I can look over the settings.

Thanks for all your help Tim. Turns out to be an issue on the PayPal side where they limited our account as they needed us to complete a FATCA Questionnaire. Once completed everything is working now.

having this very same issue in testing the new sytist site but paypal is working with the old photo cart site which is still online any recomendations
