Photo Password Protected Subgalleries Merging

I have a single section called "Galleries" within that, I have 5 main galleries, each with sub galleries that contain images. My issue is that, if someone opens one gallery, they don't have the option to choose a sub gallery. They are prompted to enter a password to show the matching photos. No matter what gallery they are in also... if they enter a password from another gallery, it will change galleries rather than saying there are no photos in the current gallery that matches that password.

Here is my Gallery Layout:

Galleries [Section]
—-- Gallery 1 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 1 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 2 [Gallery]
—-- Gallery 2 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 1 [Gallery]
—-- Gallery 3 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 1 [Gallery]
—-- Gallery 4 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 1 [Gallery]
—-- Gallery 5 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 1 [Gallery]
———— Sub Gallery 2 [Gallery]

Instead of choosing from any of the sub galleries. It immediately shows the password entry and it doesn't limit the password photo search to only photos within the gallery that the user opens.

Is this default behavior and if so, is there any way around this? I have it set up this way so that the 5 main galleries I have created still show on the homepage.

I suspect you might have the "Do no display sub galleries" option checked when in the Photos tab of the gallery in the admin.

Thank you for the quick response Tim, the option you specified is definitely unchecked. I made sure of that before posting here.

You will need to email me the link to your Sytist admin with the username and password and also the name of the gallery so I can look at the setup.
