Sytist Update 2.1 Now Available

A new Sytist update (2.1) is now available and some of the changes include:

• Added the option to add form fields to contracts to be filled out by the client signing 
  (more info at the bottom of this page in the manual)


• Added a "full screen" option for billboards with the option to add link buttons that overlay over the photos. 
  (example in demo) (more info) 


• Added the option to add a booking to Google Calendar with a link from the booking in the admin. 
  (more info at the bottom of this page in the manual)


• Added the option for paid access galleries, if one purchase is made, to remove paid access and make it a public gallery. 


• Added the option to duplicate a product in the product base. 


• Added the option for a slow zoom in / out effect for billboard slides.  


• Added when uploading photos for billboards, the large size is automatically set to 2200 so photos settings do not need to be changed.  


• Moved billboard javascript and css into separate files. 


• Changed billboard navigation numbers to buttons

How to update:
The first time each day you log into the admin it will check for the update. If you have already logged into your admin today , then you won't get the notice until tomorrow.

If you are currently using version Sytist 1.0.0 or higher, you can have it check for the update again by clicking on Settings in the main menu. Then scroll down and below the left menu, click MySQL query. Copy the following line of code, paste it in the query box and click run.

UPDATE ms_history SET upgrade_check='';

Then return to your admin home page.

If the auto update feature won't work for you for some reason, you will have to manually update.

When using the auto update from the admin and it seems to hang when trying to unzip, then the ZIP functions are probably not enabled in the PHP on your hosting. You can contact your host and ask them to enable the ZIP functions in PHP.

Tim, when do you anticipate a full integration? For us to click each booking to add it to google will take a lot of time. I am hoping that we can eventually sync all appointments with Google.

I don't know if and when it will happen Adina. I have spent a lot of time trying to get it worked out without success.

Did you do the auto update or manually update?
