Check Out Calculation Error

Hi Tim,

I'm not sure how the tax is calculating in the attached photo but it ends with a .50 cent for some reason and I can't see why? Could you elaborate or is this an error in the software calculating?

The example shows $100 item plus another item for $30 using a bonus coupon. Then the early bird discount plus a standard coupon code was used.

The early bird discount is 20%
The standard code is 15%

I can see how all the calculations derived, however, I have no clue why the 6% tax came off of $110.50 instead of $110.00. Where is the .50 cent coming from?

So on this one, you are using a bonus coupon, a standard coupon, and the early bird discount?

In settings -> Tax, is Include Shipping Charges in tax calculation checked?
And calculate tax before or after any discounts?

Hi Tim,

Attached are screenshots of the cart and checkout views. As you can see, the issue comes up once I add the standard coupon. I have the bonus coupon set so no further discounts can be applied to the bonus item. Let me know what you think.

It because there is taxable / non-taxable products and discountable / non-discountbale products.

Is there a reason you don't have your bonus coupon set to taxable?

It is set to taxable, see attached. All my options are set to taxable.
