I'm wondering if there are other volume photographers that use sytist and if so would you be willing to answer some questions?

I am loving sytist for the customer facing pieces. I find it so well designed for volume. However I am struggling on the backend.. .order processing/customer management side. I know I must not be doing things efficiently or I'm missing tools.

Anyone willing to answer some questions?

Couple of questions.

1. Do you use lightroom?
2. What type of volume photography are you talking about? Something like HS Sports, Dance, etc...

It's really easy to process orders, if that is what your looking for.

Hi Bill,
1. yes, I use lightroom. I use the txt file output and read it in using lr transporter. It tags the ordered files. I usually process orders in groups. I would like that tag file to be able to be run over a set of orders not one at a time. Can you point me to better way here?

2. T&I (groups of 200-1200) & Action sports

Struggle is with logistics. Everything can be done, its just taking me 5 times as many clicks as it used to.

I use list of orders and file I can import for mailing labels.
I usually create shipping labels ahead of time. To add the tracking number to the order is a many click process. If a have a set of orders in a status, after I ad a tracking number to the customer it returns to the master list, not the category I was working in, so I have another click to return to the category. Can I change the date it is shipped? Can I send a ship notice later?
Adding customers one at a time is cumbersome. Adding a credit to an account one at a time is also cumbersome.
Adding print credits for customers that buy onsite is a one by one process. Also, customers forget print credit numbers and I am forever crediting customers afterwards or answering questions, vs the people who bought online are just picking pictures. Logging into each account and adding the print credit number would be time prohibitive. This means I have to deal with the same set of customers differently, until all the credits are used. Some have print credits and some have pre-buys.

I'm sure there are many things that are capable that I just don't know. Can you point me to anything to help me streamline the process to fit the tool?
