Download All Photos In Admin Section

I was hoping to be able to download a gallery of all photos in the admin section. "Photos", "More", "Download all photos". I get a message "Sorry but this is too large to generate a zip file. There is a 4GB limit and this would exceed it." I do understand why there is a limit on this. Is there anyway to increase it or another way I can download all the photos from that gallery?

The reason I ask is that yesterday I discovered that I've completely lost my local copies of the images for that particular gallery and I would like to download these all back to my local drives.

The 4GB limit is a PHP  / server limit, not one Sytist is implementing. It can't  create one over 4GB.

You can create a sub galleries within that gallery (Photos Tab -> Add Sub Galleries) and move photos into those sub galleries so each sub gallery will be less than 4GB and view and download those sub galleries the same way you would have downloaded the gallery.

Click to enlarge a photo in the admin, scroll down under Photo Files, click original and look in the address bar, you will see something like 

/sy-photos/2024/07/23/03/original_a2815eaf8bec937_2514797_xl.jpg

The green bold is the server path to the folder the photos are in. Using a FTP program, navigate to that folder and download the photos that start with original_

Thanks for the reply. i figured the 4gb limit was on the server side, and not part of Sytist. i have split the photos into 2 subs and they are downloading fine, thank you for your help!
