Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

We migrated our entire site, which included Sytist and Photocart, to a dedicated server with the same host. We've had no problems with Sytist since the migration, but we're getting MySQL error in Photocart.

This is the error in the admin area:
MYSQL ERROR: Expression #1 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'pearlspi_galleries.pc_gallery_stats.gs_id' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by

Query: SELECT *,DATE_ADD(gs_date, INTERVAL -9 HOUR) AS gs_date FROM WHERE DATE_FORMAT(gs_date, '%Y-%m-%d')='2018-10-19' GROUP BY gs_session

We get a similar error when viewing the site and attempting to choose an option in the shopping cart:
MYSQL ERROR: Expression #1 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'pearlspi_galleries.pc_cart.cart_id' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by

Query: SELECT *, SUM(cart_qty) AS total FROM WHERE cart_sp_id='140' AND cart_sess='9621304320180211120134' AND cart_pic_id='1382891' GROUP BY cart_sp_id

I gather something is not right with the database, but I don't even know where to start to resolve this. Any help is appreciated!

Looks like strict mode is enabled in the database. Send me an email and I can attach you a file to upload that should work around it.

Hi there. I can't access my admin page since my server upgraded. They have suggested I do this:

turn off the only_full_group_by mode

I'm not a coder, do you have any way to help me? I currently have orders in my inbox that I can't even access as I only see any error.

Thank you in advance.
