Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

How To Log Out As A Customer

I cannot seem to log out as a customer. I sometimes need to trouble shoot for customers and made a dummy account under my name to sign in as a customer except I can't figure out how to "log out" and it's driving me mental. "Log out" disappears every time I try to click on it.

By default there is a log out link in the top mini menu. I don't understand what it would disappear when you click it. It completely goes away?

Yeah Tim, it just disappears. I tried to screen cap it but it won't upload even though I changed the ext to jpg.

I just looked again and I don't see a log out link in the top mini menu. I see a lot out option when I'm logged in as an administrator. But that's not what I mean. I mean when I'm logged in as a customer. I can't seem to log out.

Go to Design -> Menu Links and look for the Logout link option. Maybe you have it not active. If so, edit it and make it active.

Thank you! It was active but I switched the log out link to show up in the main menu and that worked!
