I used the password protect option for the first time and so far I think I have it working pretty darn good. All the kids have a password and if I type it in their pictures show up. However when I was uploading and tweaking my passwords I noticed all my pictures where first Identifed with a specific password. I won't share that password here but it is associated with my company name and wouldn't be too hard to guess. Eventhough all the pictures have their password, if I use this orginal password all the picture are shown. Do you have any thought how to get the picture from stop pulling up using this general password?

Suspect this might be your problem.

Tim - does the search restriction file (preventing searching on copyright field linked to in the thread above) get overwritten on a new update?
Our choice of search fields would probably be better chosen from with the UI to prevent this.

This appears to be exactly my problem. It is also allowing my Copyright information be used as the passcode. I thought by clicking the check box in photo settings regarding the "When using passcodes in titles, treat untitled photos (no password) as group photos." it would solve the problem but it does not.
Tim do I need to download the same zipfile as mentioned in Trailboy's linked post?

I'll wait for Tim to advise, but I think {copyright} iptc field search should be off by default as all pro's embed copyright, very few use foolography.

Do you have anything thoughts how to stop my gallery from using my copyright field as a way to see all the photos in my gallery that should be individual password protected? See my original note.

It is searching the copyright and user comment fields in the database which is captured during upload.
What you would need to do for now until there is an option to search those or not is after you have uploaded photos for a gallery like this:
Click Settings in the main menu then UNDERNEATH the left menu click MySQL query.
Copy the following line, paste it there and click run:
UPDATE ms_photos SET pic_copyright='', pic_user_comment='';
