I'm getting this message:

Unable to connect to the databaseAccess denied for user 'innamoratacom1'@'fields.dreamhost.com' (using password: YES)

That's all that shows when I go to my admin link, clients can't access galleries, etc... any ideas?

That is saying you or your host has changed the password for the database. The new database password will need to be updated in the sy-config.php file which is in your main Sytist folder. It is the $setup['pc_db_pass'] variable.

The connection screen is correct. the hostname, database name & password are all correct. But I am still getting "Error establishing a database connection". My website just shows a bunch of links and when you click on anything you get the "Error establishing a database connection". The same error happens when I try to go to the admin part. Please help, I have talked to my hosting and they are not able to help me.

Whatever the issue is it is not with Sytist but the server.

You can email me the following for me to look into it:

1) Link to your Sytist admin.

2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).

3) FTP username and password.

I haven't had a chance to get on here and post an update. I did find what was causing the error. Since I have business hosting with multiple formats (sytist, Wordpress, etc) on one hosting account I finally looked at the htaccess file on the main folder and found that Wordpress had added some code to it that was messing up the sytist site. After removing the Wordpress code everything has been working great again. I will know where to look if I get the error again. Thanks for your help.
