Notifications For New Uploads

I just wanted to check if there is a possibility to automatically send notifications to members associated with a gallery when new photos are uploaded to that gallery?

I offer a live service for some of my clients, where parents will create an account and sign in to an empty gallery, but they are often unaware that photos are being uploaded during an event where they aren't present (think school camp, etc).

My live service has been increasingly popular, and can create an additional revenue stream other than the event photography I also do.
