Not Updating To 4.0.2 After Manual Update

Hi,

The auto update function does not work on my site, inphotography.nz/store/ it was stuck on "Fetching" for an extremely long time. To get around this, I've run a manual update on the Sytist end but the update did not go through. Are you able to advise? There have been no logs indicating why this has happened (Auto update not working + manual update not working).

We have recently moved our web hosting to a Centos 8 platform running PHP7.4.

I would try the auto update again and see if it works. Could be something on the server blocking the request to get the zip file, you would have to check with your host about that.

If manually updating does work then you have no uploaded the files to the correct place.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your reply. Auto update is still not working, are you able to tell me what IP address the zip file is being fetched from so that we can check if the host is blocking it?

IP should be 170.249.210.122

Or the domain picturespro.com

Hi Tim, we have checked the server and can confirm there is no block in getting to picturespro.com or the IP address. We are able to download the file using WGET and while slow, it was fine.
I am still unable to manually update as well to 4.0.2

It could be an issue with cURL for it to not be getting the zip file. Perhaps it is not enabled in PHP, you can check with your host about that. And there should be some sort of error in the error log related to it.

For not being able to manually update it means you have not uploaded the files into the correct place, especially the files in the admin folder. That is the only reason why.

If your admin folder is named something other than sy-admin, you will have to upload those admin files separately.
