Busting Open Default Emails

Hi Tim,

So I have created a preview gallery with the "collections" that allow people to make image selections - it absolutely perfect for my needs.

Specifically this applies to my newborn business, I present them a gallery of 40-50 images and they can select a package (10, 20, 30 images etc) and purchase via the selection collection. The issue is, when this gallery is available I would like to email them with the specific instructions including gallery LINK and PASSWORD.

It seems this information is ONLY available to the "gallery owner default email", which I would like to remain as it is.

How can I select a different "Gallery owner email" as an option?

When I try copy this email, it simply can't use the same variables [LINK] and [PASSWORD].

I basically have to re-write the email every time from scratch which is a waste of time and a pain.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If it is a password protected gallery, when you go to the People tab of the gallery and select to send them an email about the gallery, it uses the "Invite to view password protected page" default email which contains the link and password to the gallery unless you have removed it from the default emial.

Hi Tim,

Going in Via Gallery > People lets me use the [Link] and [Password] variables with my own default emails so thats great - although it is an extra step or two compared with just clicking on the "gallery Owner > email information" which is directly on the Text & Settings tab.
