Trying To Update Sytist

Hello, I am trying to update my Sytist program and am having troubles. I have paid for the upgrade but when I try to unzip the file, it just keeps spinning and not actually updating. I tried to troubleshoot this by following the instructions to update manually and when I get to the step where I need to click on my oder to download it, it won't download.

It also says I need to download the Sytist link which I'm not sure how to do either. It also asks (once you've downloaded the Sytist file which I can't do) you to connect to your website with the FTP program; what do you mean by that? I tried to upload the troubleshooting file but I think because I don't have an updated enough version that the button to click and upload a file isn't available.

For a person who is not very technically inclined, this is turning into a frustrating process and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

When using the auto-update from the admin and it seems to hang when trying to unzip, then the ZIP functions are probably not enabled in the PHP on your hosting. If it used to work then your host probably changed something to cause the ZIP functions in PHP to go away.

You can contact your hosting company and ask them to enable the ZIP functions in PHP then you can apply the update from the admin. It is simple for them to do.

Otherwise you will need to manually update: https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/installation/upgrading/
