I am trying to send out a text message it looks to be stalled out ( after an hour of the sending message).
I have attached screen shots of all my screens associated with the service. I have a subscription to Twilo.

Those people probably have not given consent to receive text messages. Your existing customer base when updating to the Sytist version with text messaging will not have consent to receive texts.

https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/settings/sms-text-messaging/

Consent

When text messaging is enabled in Sytist it will automatically add a consent option when someone creates and account, places and order and when in their My Account section. You can edit the language used on the settings page.

It is important that you get consent before sending a text to your customers. If you have gotten consent from a customer in another way you can set the consent option for their account by viewing their account in your Sytist admin & click edit from the Actions tab.

Customers can log in and go to the My Account section and click the Manage My Phone Number option to select yes or no for consent to receive text messages. If you want existing customers to select yes or no to consent you could direct them to log into their account and select this option.

Thanks Tim,

I have reviewed that an realized that not ALL the seniors had that option marked. I would then assume, since NO email are logged, that they must all have consented to the email "text" option for Sytist to send ANY at all?

Refer to 2nd image in screen shots it had 112 with mail icon and 28 with phone icon.

The Text Message Log showed no messages sent.

Email and text are 2 separate things.

If you click the view / manage people tab like in your screenshot above, it will display the email addresses and phone numbers.

If the phone number has an * in front of it and in a light grey color, that means that customer did not consent or has no answer for consent for text messages and will not send them a text. (Mousing over the number it will say that).

Though it shows a number next to the phone icon, that is how many accounts have phone numbers. That does not mean they agreed to receive text messages. The only customers you might have that would have agreed to receive text messages are customers that have created accounts after you updated to Sytist 3.8.

Tim,
I don't think my text messaging is working or set up correct.. I went through all the accounts and marked to accept text, I go to the gallery with these names and alll that happens is the sending message goes on for hours and nothing ever goes out. I may not understand how this works, but I can get it to send to myself and that is it. I wish there were more detail on how to make this work.

Still Not working I went through all 117 accounts associated with the page and entered my text message and it will send to to one person if I list it in the additional email space, but will just continue on saying it is sending when I attempt the bulk buy selecting the names. The other thing I notice if I add multiple email addresses in the "add additional " with a (,) separating addresses it will not send either. Even just two addresses it stalls out.

If it is just stall, then it is probably returning a server error which you would not be able to see.

I would need to create a dummy page and accounts in order to test it on your site. Is that OK?

I haven't received FTP info from you but the 3.8.4 update I put out this morning should resolve it.
