Hi Tim,
I was wondering if there is any way for us to allow clients to upload their own file to our site, and then we produce the order from that for them, like how Shutterfly does theirs. Is there any way that that can be done, and if not, are there any plans in the future to implement that?

There is not an option for that and don't know if there will be.

You can place a link to wetransfer or to your dropbox account (if you have one) to the order confirmation email.
That's how I do it now , even if I'm working on another system for product customizing in these days.
