New Upload Failure

I'm trying to upload images to a gallery. When the upload finishes, not every thumbnail displays, but the filename and Systist ID displays underneath where the thumbnail should be.

I have attempted to upload to the gallery from a Windows 10 machine (with the most recent updates) and from a Mac Pro machine running Mojave 10.14.6 without success.

I tried Firefox and Chrome from Mojave and Chrome from Windows 10.

I first tried to upload the entire folder (273 images), then after the first failure, I tried various increments (anywhere from 10 to 60 per upload) with the same result.

The only difference was the "empty" thumbnails were different each time.

I copied the image folder from the Windows 10 system to the Mojave system as to not having to contend with the local network attenuation.

Have you been able to upload photos previously? And if so, have you made changes to your hosting or server?

Are you moving photos to Amazon S3?

Have you looked in the error log?

Are the photos larger than what you normally upload?

Yes to the former, not to my knowledge to the latter.

Are you moving photos to Amazon S3?

Yes. Have been doing so for quite some time. Directly on upload.

Have you looked in the error log?

Where is it?

Are the photos larger than what you normally upload?

Smaller.

Thanks, Tim.

I suspect maybe you are out of space or close to it on your hosting account. Check in your hosting control panel.

Otherwise, You can email me the following for me to look into it other than going back and forth here:

1) Link to your Sytist admin.

2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).

3) FTP username and password.

Hi Tim,

If I'm uploading my images to AWS S3, how does running out of space on my hosting factor into this?
I'm not debating, I'm just wanting to understand.

I recently received a "close to limit" message from my hosting service, and it's usually email related. I
cleaned up the best I could. Perhaps I'll clean up further and then retry the image upload and see
what the result is.

As always, thanks.

See this about the close to limit message from host. It could be the session files building up:

I cleaned up another 5% from my email account, retried the upload with the same results.

I then tried the article you shared, logged out, and logged back in, retried the upload with the same results.

I'll be sending you my login credentials via email.

Do you want me to send the images to you via WeTransfer?

Thanks.
