Just Updated And Tried To Add Square And Getting Error

I just updated my site and then added Square - I get a "website" is currently unable to handle this request error when I try to checkout using square. I checked the version of PHP I am using on the site and it should be acceptable; I tried the suggestion about forcing HTTPS on all the pages; not sure if I did that correctly.

When do you get that message? After entering in credit card info?
What is in the address bar when you get the error?
