Photo Quality In Gallery Vs When Opened In E-commerce Screen

I've noticed my images look soft in the galleries, especially my panoramas. However, when they are clicked and opened into the e-commerce screen, the quality looks good. Is there some setting I need to change in order to make the gallery images sharper?

I have attached a screenshot of my photo settings.

Here is a link to one of my galleries where you can see what I am referring to.

Also, can the images that open on the e-commerce screen be made larger? They seem a bit small with a lot of white space, at least on my iMac it appears that way.

Thank you in advance for your help.

You will either need to make the thumbnails smaller so they don't span the full width of the page. Click the Photos tab for the gallery in the admin then the Photo Display Settings tab. Decrease the row height value.

Or you will have to make your "small" photo sizes about 1400 pixels (I don't recommend doing this) in Settings -> Photo Settings and re-upload the photos.

I have made the suggested changes to my Skyline gallery and do not see any image difference with the panoramic images. I even tried what you said not to do, to change the photo size to 1400 pixels and reuploaded the image, but it looked exactly the same. Do you have any other suggestions to make the panoramic images look clearer?

Here is what the Skyline gallery looks like currently on my website for comparison (not Sytist):

Thank you.

This photo is the small photo and it is 600 pixels wide (resized to that during upload). It is getting upsized to 751 pixels to fill the area. Whenever a photo has to be upsized it will make it blurry.

You can try to make the small photos 800 pixels wide and it may look better.
