Hi Tim,
I am trying to find the best way to give a credit / coupon for pre paid preschool photos.

I am using a booking form for registration to make it easy to collect the deposit, but I am struggling with the best way to give it back to the customer when ordering. It is

I have found the account credit (which is great for family photos) but it doesn't look practical to add a manual credit for each preschool child. I also found coupons but I can't figure out what would stop 2 people in 1 family from ordering and as such using the credit twice on 1 child. Also if a parent has photos of 2 children in 1 order how they can use the coupon twice. Or is there another solution?
Thank you

Are you using the booking calendar where they are selecting a date as well or just for the deposit?

If it is just for the deposit and the date doesn't matter (not actually booking a session date & time) you could create a store section and store product instead that includes a credit that automatically applies to their account.

Info on creating a store item. You would make it a service product.

But if you are using the booking calendar for selecting a date and time you would need to manually add the credit to their account.

Hi Mary

When you use coupons you can set it to use "only once" that way multiple members can not use it. I use coupons when I take deposits for dance schools, the amount varies depending on the amount of costumes, children in family, etc. Since I need to collect student and class info also and calculate the total I use a separate system then I supply a coupon code to client for that amount.

As Tim said though, if you charging 1 set fee using a store item works well.
