I purchased an SSL certificate a few years back and I can't figure out how to get the emails with the auto links to be https://. They all still start with with http://. I've searched in the group and saw where it said to update that in the Settings>Automated Emails section, but that didn't work (and I have honestly never used that because I can't figure out how to set it up). Is there something I missed? I've tried to do a redirect (where if they typed http://, it would automatically redirect to https://) on my main hosting page, but while it worked, it messed up the payment-would process they payment, but wouldn't go all the way through, so people were paying multiple times and it wasn't saying that the payment processed, so I took off the redirect (because I honestly have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that, lol!)

Hi if you have not done this, this is what you need to do https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/installation/forcing-site-to-use-ssl-https/

Step 2 in the page Vance posted shows how to change the links to use https in the emails.

Thanks! That worked! I think I missed that step the first time I tried to do it!

I'm also rather mystified by this topic.
Step one in the link above: I have https with my host, but the sy-config.php file still says http.
Step two in the link above: I don't have the text....
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.YOUR-DOMAIN.com/$1 [R,L]
....and I am nervous to change things when I don't know what I am doing and have not been told to do so!
I have only brought up this topic as I got some website help today and I was told there were some issues I think with with crawling and Google getting http. I don't really understand it all, but I thought maybe this could be one of the issues?
I have already just changed one of my menu links on my website from http to https, which links to the Sytist section. And I went into the email section and saw an http there, so I have changed that to https.
I'm just nervous about following the steps 1 and 2 in the link in case I screw up my site as it warns I could!
Can I safely do 1 and 2 without a catastrophe?!

Anything you might break by doing that can be fixed.
You can email me the following and I can do it.
1) Link to your Sytist admin.
2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).
3) FTP or hosting control panel access
