Combining Quantities When Print Credit Is Used

When my clients redeem a print credit, sometimes it will include dozens of prints, or in the case of a wedding, it might include hundreds. Fulfilling those orders is often tedious because it doesn't merge duplicate prints onto the same line, and instead lists every item like a unique product, even if they order 30 of the same photo in the same size, the order will list 30 individual prints. Much of the time this is fine, significantly slower than it could be, but ultimately fine. But, sometimes I'll finish setting up the order for fulfillment, and then find that my totals (e.g., 25 prints, 8 unique images) are off for some reason, and then I have to go through line by line, going back and forth comparing the client's order with my lab order, trying to figure out what I missed. Once in a while I end up having to clear the whole thing and start over. It's very frustrating when that happens and it eats up a lot more of my time than it reasonably should, especially considering that quantity column is just sitting there not doing anything.

This whole situation would go away if the system would merge duplicate items into the quantity line like one would expect it to. I'm wondering whether maybe there is a setting for this somewhere I haven't looked, or if not, maybe we could get this in a future update?

There is not setting for it. Just the way the collections work. I will make a note of it though.
