B&w Black And White With S3 Not Working

I just attempted to add B&W Filtering following instructions in the manual, but when I attempt to preview it in cart, the image with filter applied just shows as a broken link. Since B&W is not compatible with green screen, my guess is that it also doesn't work with S3, which we use. Is this a bug or just a functionality not yet supported?

B&W photo preview does work with photos hosted on Amazon S3. Just tested to double check. You are looking on the front end right? Can you post or email me a link to test?
